Lardo appoints new executive chef
Lardo, an Italian restaurant in Hackney, has announced the appointment of Rachel O'Sullivan as its new executive chef.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, her new role will include overseeing all of Lardo's food & beverage operations and consulting on its sister restaurant Coppa in East London.
Originally from Australia, O'Sullivan moved to London to work at the Bermondsey restaurant, Magdalen. Most recently, she worked as head chef at Spuntino, the Italian- New York inspired restaurant in Soho, and now O'Sullivan will be taking over from Damien Currie.
Eliza Flannagan, owner of Lardo, said: "We are thrilled to have Rachel join the Lardo family. With her wealth of experience, and passion for regional Italian cuisine, I know that she will be instrumental in driving the restaurant forward."
