Large restaurant in Cheshire on the market

The opportunity has arisen to buy a spacious restaurant in an affluent Cheshire village.

The Café Symphony restaurant and bar occupies a substantial mid-terrace property in the market town of Congleton in South East Cheshire (at the southern reaches of the Pennine Hills).

There are restaurant areas on the ground and first floors to seat 120 diners, a 100-seat mezzanine bar, and a 30-seat terrace to the rear, with the second floor holding the former owners' accommodation.

Current owner Chris Garner has built up a reputation for the modern global-themed food he has served since acquiring the premises in 1993.

The Manchester office of Christie + Co is inviting offers of £595,000 for the freehold.
