Le Frog Bistro croaks and is placed in administration

Casual restaurant operator Le Frog Bistro, which runs five outlets in the North-west of England, has collapsed into administration.

Administrator Begbies Traynor has been called in to oversee the sale of the business, with property agents Christie & Co appointed to handle the sale of the five sites.

Le Frog Bistro's five restaurants are situated in Ormskirk, Fulwood, Wigan and Warrington in Lancashire, and St Helens, Merseyside.

The group's Warrington site is thought to be closed.
