Leasehold sells for close to £120,000

The leasehold of The Blue Hayes Restaurant in the village of Shootash near Winchester, has sold for close to the asking price of £120,000. New owners, Mike and Janet Driscoll, from Bordon in Hampshire, have 20 years experience in the licensed pub and restaurant trade and have big plans for the 60-cover restaurant. The property, which dates back to the early 1900s, benefits from a large customer car park and formal gardens with a swimming pool and sun terrace. Agent was Christie and Co, acting for Mark and Sue Watts.
