Leon opens its 10th new site this year
Healthy fast food group Leon has opened its 10th new site this year, at London's King's Cross.
The new site, which launched on 1 December, is the group's second venue at the transport hub, and is located on Pancras Square. It brings the fast-growing firm's total number of new openings since January to 10, and is its 32nd opening to date.
Leon's first King's Cross location, on the train station concourse, opened in 2012.
Founded by Henry Dimbleby and John Vincent, the group announced in April that it expected to open 19 new sites in 2016. In 2014, it generated its first ever pre-tax profit, at just under £910,000, up from a loss of nearly £710,000 in the previous year.
The majority of the group's sites are in London, although it also has locations at Stansted airport, the Eurotunnel, the East Midlands, and in Birmingham.
