London restaurateurs buy Solihull's Beau Thai

Richard and Sudjai Jones, who ran a café in West London, have bought the Beau Thai restaurant in Solihull, West Midlands.

The 50-seat licensed restaurant occupies a two-storey, mid-terraced building that includes owners' accommodation on the first floor.

The Birmingham office of property agent Christie & Co acted on behalf of the previous owner, Nigel Samson. After running the business for 10 years, Samson is now looking to buy a restaurant in the south of England.

The Joneses paid a sum close to the asking price of £395,000 for the freehold.
