London's posh bowling alley

An upmarket bowling alley, bar and restaurant is to open in London at the end of November.

All Star Lanes, situated in Victoria House overlooking Bloomsbury Square, will have four public lanes, two private lanes, a bar and a diner serving American food ranging from burgers to lobster.

The first of its kind in the UK, All Star Lanes takes inspiration from Bowlmor in Manhattan, which offers a luxurious bowling experience.
Funded by private investors, the project has been in development for 18 months and will cost £2m to build.

Managing director Mark Von Westenholz said: "It's a place to bowl and have a burger and chips for lunch, as well as a glamorous dinner and martini in the evening."
