L'Ortolan for sale for £1.3m

The freehold of L'Ortolan, part of Alan Murchison's 10 in 8 group is up for sale at £1.3m.
The details of the property in Shinfield south of Reading have appeared on the website of property agent Savills and is listed as an investment, with "business unaffected".
The group currently has three restaurants - La Bécasse, Paris House and L'Ortolan. Both Paris House and L'Ortolan have a Michelin star.
Murchison has stressed that 10 in 8 Group is the sitting tenant at the site, and the restaurant will continue to trade as normal.
Earlier this month it emerged that long-time colleague of Murchison, Will Holland, was to leave his post as chef patron of La Bécasse to pursue other opportunities.
