Lucky Chip Burgers group to open first permanent site

The Lucky Chip Burgers group is to open its first permanent site, in Dalston in east London.

There is also a small selection of hot dogs and chicken wings, sides including a variety of fries plus jalapeno coleslaw, along with dips and sauces including the familiar garlic aioli and sweet chilli, plus the slightly more unusual cream soda BBQ sauce and ginger sweet chilli.

There will also be over 120 wines on offer, while the décor is set to be inspired by a traditional American steakhouse.

Founded in 2011 by Ben Denner, Lucky Chip Burgers began as an upmarket street food burger van, appearing at food markets across the capital as part of the Eat St. collective.

It currently operates from within the Old Queen's Head pub in Islington, north London, and the Birthdays live music bar and venue in Dalston, but doesn't as yet have its own site.
