Mac & Wild's second restaurant goes permanent

Scottish restaurant Mac & Wild's winter pop-up in London's Devonshire Square has gone permanent.

The 100-cover venue launched five months ago an offshoot of Mac & Wild Fitzrovia on Great Titchfield Street in 2015.

It also features the covered craft beer bar Gun Room, with a virtual shooting simulator. The lower ground floor bar will become the home of Kaleidoscope, a new whisky bar from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, which launches on 31 May.

Tyical dishes include venison and beef Chateaubriand, the Veni-Moo burger, haggis mac & cheese and a Scotch egg made up of venison, black pudding and haggis.
