Marco Pierre White exits Australian radio interview after host's jibes over marriages

Marco Pierre White walked off a radio interview in Australia after he took exception to the "rude" manner of one of his interviewers.

The renowned chef was asked by Dale Lewis, a presenter on Adelaide's Triple M station, why his three wives had left him.

White attempted to answer the question in good humour but Lewis followed up his response by answering "If you're the rude pr*ck you come across on TV, I wouldn't be there long either."

The host attempted to apologise after it became clear that Pierre White was not amused by the comments, but it wasn't enough to make amends.

"You're a very rude man and I hope your mother is not listening to this show today because she would not be proud of her son. Have a nice day, bye bye," said White before he left the interview.

Lewis later told an Australian newspaper: "He made me feel as if I was a seven-year-old kid again who had just done something bad."
