Mas Q Menos announces expansion plans for London and Paris

Spanish restaurant and tapas brand Mas Q Menos is to open four new restaurants in 2017 - three in London and one in Paris.

Sites are set to open in the City of London, Wimbledon and Kingston before the end of the second quarter.

Igor Matrosov, property director of Mas Q Menos UK, said: "The City works very well for us. The brand resonates well with the crowd that's in the City because we can provide a quick lunch at decent prices and people return in the evening for wine so it works both ways.

"We want to start expanding further out of the city, so Kingston and Wimbledon seem like a great next step and tap into new markets because we feel there's an opportunity that we are missing.

The announcement follows the opening of the brand's fourth London site in Holborn last month. The 50-cover restaurant joined restaurants in Soho, Farringdon and Fenchurch.

The restaurants will be in keeping with the same interior design as the existing sites; however, each area will have their own local twists.

There are over 30 Mas Q Menos restaurants in Spain offering a wide range of quality food and tapas including jamÁ³n, salads, and artisan breads, accompanied by Spanish wines, cocktails, draught beers, juices, smoothies and coffee.
