Miller & Carter and All Bar One set for Stratford's Bell Court
Steakhouse chain Miller & Carter and All Bar One are the latest brands to announce openings at the Bell Court development in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Miller & Carter has signed a 25-year deal for a 5,078 sq ft, 200-cover restaurant on the ground floor of Bell Court below the Everyman cinema, with additional seating outside. All Bar One will join Miller & Carter with a 4,007 sq ft, 110-cover restaurant over the ground and first floor that will open out onto the central courtyard and an outdoor dining area.
Both openings, expected to launch on the opening of the development in spring next year, will be the first for the brands in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The £30m redevelopment of Bell Court will comprise over 70,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and leisure space, including a Byron restaurant.
John Stacey, asset management director at UK & European Investments, the developer behind Bell Court, said: "Restaurants and bars such as these will ensure Bell Court is a thriving leisure destination. When complete, Bell Court will be a desirable place; attractive to both visitors and residents looking for somewhere to enjoy their spare time. Construction of the new buildings at Bell Court is now nearing completion and refurbishment of the existing units is well underway."
Edward Peel, acquisitions manager at Mitchells & Butlers, the company behind both Miller & Carter and All Bar One, added: "We'd been looking for an opportunity to open some of our most successful brands in Stratford-upon-Avon for a number of years and Bell Court presented the perfect opportunity for us to do this. The high quality landscaping and overall improvements to the buildings and public space, as well as the tenants already agreed, will complement the offering of both Miller & Carter and All Bar One perfectly."
