Nathan Outlaw teams up with Cornwall College to launch new training academy

Chef Nathan Outlaw has teamed up with Cornwall College Camborne to launch a new training facility, called Academy Nathan Outlaw at Cornwall College.

The facility will see Outlaw and the college's catering and hospitality team join forces to offer budding young chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality staff the opportunity to study towards professional qualifications. Training will be provided by both staff from the college and Outlaw himself.

The courses will combine practical and theoretical workshops with industrial visits, high-profile work experiences and masterclasses, plus the chance to work in Outlaw's restaurant kitchens.

Outlaw will officially open the academy with principal of Cornwall College Dave Linnell and head of Cornwall College Camborne Don McKenzie on 13 June.
