New deli and social events hub Jenius Social to open in May

A new food and drink venue and social hub named Jenius Social is to open in London's Islington in May.

The 1,315sq ft, 32-seat space will feature an on-site deli, open plan dining room, and a shop selling home cooking accessories. It will also host supper clubs, cookery classes and events with industry experts and UK food producers.

The aim is to create a space in which interested customers can discuss and share their love of food and drink.

Founder and owner Jennifer Yong will also open the kitchen and dining room for private hire, photo shoots, food styling and industrial filming. Yong previously worked as project manager at Lloyds Banking and JP Morgan.

She has said that Jenius Social is aiming to be a fun and friendly hub that will "create connections through food".
