New look for Harry Ramsden's to attract ‘new generation of customer'
The new Harry Ramsden's restaurant at Blackpool Tower officially opened this week revealing the brand's new look, intended to attract a "new generation of customer".
The flagship restaurant's new "modern" seaside design includes a 19ft LED screen projecting constantly updated images stretches across the restaurant and a ‘Harry's selfie pod' instantly displays customer images onto a massive screen.
As well as fish and chips, the updated menu includes fresh, cooked to order rotisserie and grilled seafood and meat dishes, salads, burgers, and an extended vegetarian range.
Joe Teixeira, CEO of Harry Ramsden's, said: "We are extremely proud of our heritage. Our existing formats continue to trade exceptionally well across the country and attract an ever increasing and broadening customer base. As we continue to further invest in the brand, we retain all the key elements that are loved by our loyal fan base, however now we are incorporating a more up-to-date look and feel, with the next generation of Harry's customer in mind. We believe this brand stretch will further enhance Harry Ramsden's status in the modern day, casual dining market."
The first Harry Ramsden's restaurant was opened in 1928 in Guiseley, west Yorkshire, and now has more than 40 outlets across the UK.
