New pan-Asian restaurant and izakaya bar for Brighton

A new pan-Asian restaurant and bar has launched in Brighton, offering light bites, snacks, dim sum, and Bincho skewers and a well-stocked Asian bar.

Yum Yum Ninja features distinctive decor by TV interior designer Oliver Heath and also has an expansive courtyard lit by traditional Asian lanterns. Chef Jake Northcote Green uses local ingredients and sustainable produce to create Far Eastern flavours in a variety of plates, ranging from tapas-style arrangements to "Bo Ssam" feasting menus for larger groups.

The restaurant will also host a DJ set every Saturday during the summer, while the Yum Yum Ninja brand also has a street food stall in Brighton's Brighthelm Garden until 3pm on Fridays.

Joint owner Robert Shenton said he was proud of the menu and the service and welcomed locals and visitors to the newly-opened site.
