New US-style bar Core opens on London's Queen Street

A bar aiming to "bring New York City to London" has just opened on the capital's Queen Street.
Core bar is open all day, with a breakfast-to-dinner menu and after-dark focus on craft beers, coffee and a wide selection of cocktails via its "Brew and Brew" drinks menu (in reference to both beer and coffee).
The food menu includes "light bites", such as the chorizo sausage roll or runny yolk Scotch egg; sandwiches, burgers, sharing platters, and bar snacks.
With open tables and booths, the décor aims to create areas suitable for both large parties, and smaller, cosier groups.
