Newbury Racecourses to open two more bars

Newbury Racecourses is to launch two new bars in time for its Winter Festival between 24 and 26 November.

The new Wine Cellar will offer luxury leather armchairs, rustic low lighting and a wine list compiled with Berry Bros in the style of a traditional gentlemen's club. Meanwhile, the second bar will be the Moet & Chandon Champagne Hall, inspired by the Royal Albert Hall Champagne bar. Decorated in monochrome and gold tones, the Champagne Hall will feature a pebble-clad seafood bar, as well as modern widescreen televisions to keep guests up to date with the live racing action.

The racecourse already has the existing 1905 cocktail bar on the first floor of the Hampshire Stand and the Hennessy restaurant on the second.
