Nicky Foley to be head chef at London's Rotunda
London restaurant Rotunda has appointed Nicky Foley as its new head chef.
Irish-born Foley joins the King's Cross restaurant from D&D London's Butlers Wharf Chop House, where he was head chef for two years. He previously worked as head chef at Aubaine as well as at Bentley's and Tom's Kitchen.
The Rotunda menu also highlights the restaurant's extensive selection of beef and lamb, all sourced from its own farm in Matfen, Northumberland. The meat is aged on site at Rotunda in a purpose-built hanging room and butchered by the restaurant's own butcher, Daz Roach.
Owned by Greene & Fortune, Rotunda is located within the Kings Place development and was first opened in 2008 by John Nugent, the former chief executive of caterer Searcy.
