Noodle bar operator Chopstix plans to double in size
Noodle bar operator Chopstix is to launch a site at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent as part of an expansion strategy to double its portfolio over the next two years.
The company, which operates under the Chopstix, Wok in a Box, Oodle Noodle, New Organic Noodle Concept and Noodle Stop brands, has secured a 1,100 sq ft outlet in the centre's food court.
Chopstix currently runs 17 sites in London, Leicester, Glasgow, and Norwich and is also understood to have secured sites in Portsmouth, Edinburgh, Belfast, Glasgow and Slough.
Brandon Elmon, agency director at Davis Coffer Lyons, which secured the Bluewater site for the group, said: "Chopstix has some highly prominent high street sites ranging from London's Oxford Street, Leicester Square and the London Eye, right into the provinces and up to Glasgow with Edinburgh and Belfast under contract.
"Bluewater will provide a great stepping stone for further expansion into shopping centre environments and we have three other sites in solicitors' hands."
