Oliver Peyton appoints Simon Duff executive chef for National Gallery dining

Champion of British produce Oliver Peyton has appointed Simon Duff as executive chef of the National Gallery restaurants, the National Dining Rooms and the National Café.

Previous to this appointment Duff was executive chef in charge of managing the pre-opening team at the five-star boutique hotel, the Franklin hotel in London between 2007 and 2009.

Before that he worked as executive chef at Swissôtel the Howard London, where he gained a third rosette for its Jaan restaurant. He was also a finalist in the 2002 Bocuse d'Or, and a gold medalist at the international Salon Culinaire in 1996.

He trained under Marco Pierre White.
