Omar Allibhoy to open third Tapas Revolution

Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy is to open his third tapas bar, Tapas Revolution, in London's Shoreditch in February 2015.

The new restaurant, on Bethnal Green Road, will join the existing sites in Westfield, London and Bluewater in Kent.

As with the other sites, Tapas Revolution in Shoreditch, will attempt to recreate the lively and bustling tapas bars in Allibhoy's hometown of Madrid.

It will be open for all-day dining and offer fresh, high-quality tapas, using ingredients Omar has sourced from across Spain.

The menu will be simply divided into four sections; meat, fish, vegetables and egg dishes. Regional and seasonal sharing specials will be displayed on a large board.

There will be a selection of Spanish craft beers, an array of soft drinks and wine from small Spanish producers.

Designed by Shoreditch based designers Alexander Waterworth Interiors, the bar will be copper topped as found in all the Tapas Revolution tapas bars.

Allibhoy said: "Shoreditch is a great location to open our third Tapas Revolution and first standalone site. It's a great chance to further spread the word about tapas to a new audience and bring an authentic taste of Spain to Shoreditch."
