Openings: Kooks

Kooks has opened in North Laine in Brighton. It will serve a modern English menu to a soundtrack chosen by owner and DJ-producer Tim Healey. Tim, who opened the bistro with his wife Rebecca, named Kooks to reflect the creatives and eccentrics who live in the city.
Typical dishes Smoked salmon and spiced beetroot salad with mint and horseradish cream (£5.50); and sirloin steak with chimichurri and grilled baby leek (£15)
