Osia restaurant to close

London's Osia restaurant on Haymarket is to close imminently. Owner Raymond de Fazio declined to comment, saying he had "not yet decided what to do with the site". However, insider sources confirmed the restaurant would close on 26 February and be converted into a "brasserie-style" operation, probably with a US theme.

Executive chef Scott Webster has been in Australia for several months and was unavailable for comment.

De Fazio also said he was about to launch a new American-style operation at his Kensington Park Road site, currently a Mediterranean Kitchen. The new concept, called Hudson Grill, is expected to form part of a new US collection of restaurants.
