Oxo Tower Restaurant

Harvey Nichols Oxo Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie has become one of London's key landmarks as well as one of its top dining destinations. It boasts a spectacular location above the River Thames.

At the very heart of the South Bank, next to Blackfriars Bridge, lies Oxo Tower Wharf. The Wharf, originally built as a power station for the GPO, has housed many businesses over the years, but most notably was home to the Oxo cube in the 1930s. The landmark tower, which ‘subtly' advertised the product in its art deco windows, was built to avoid an advertising ban imposed by the LCC.

London is enjoying the ‘discovery' of the South Bank, and Oxo is strategically located centre stage, between the London Eye and the Tate Modern.

The Oxo Tower Restaurant Bar and Brasserie is situated on the eighth floor of the Oxo Tower occupying some 12,500 square feet. The central tower acts as a natural focus dividing the space into two equal halves. To the east lies the Restaurant and to the west the Bar and Brasserie. Both spaces are linked by a spectacular 250-foot terrace, which offers some of the most breathtaking views in London.

The Oxo Tower Restaurant Bar & Brasserie was designed by award winning architects Lifschutz Davidson, who are no strangers to the South bank, having designed local housing and office projects. The design incorporates sleek, natural materials but remains influenced by the art deco style of the building and by the presence of the river. These elements have also been reflected in our graphics, which have been beautifully designed by Michael Nash Associates.

The Oxo Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie celebrates its 10th year in September 2006.

The Restaurant The Restaurant seats 150 people with additional 80 seats on the terrace for summer dining. The Restaurant has a bar, which is exclusive to Restaurant diners. In this calm environment pre dinner drinks can be enjoyed, as can cigars and cognacs to conclude the experience. The ambience of the restaurant is a perfect showcase for the style of food Jeremy presents with enormous flair.

A remarkable wine list of over 400 wines provides a stunning selection of wines, spanning classic French regions, Spain, Italy and the New World.

The Brasserie
The Brasserie seats up to 150 with additional 100 seats on the river terrace. On balmy summer evenings this is the most sought-after location in London.

The Bar
The bar is open throughout the day, serving both classic and creative cocktails. During the day people congregate in the relaxed and friendly surroundings. During the evenings the tempo changes. With live jazz every evening, the bar becomes a sophisticated and busy London night-spot.
