Peter Sanchez-Iglesias announces the closure of Pi Shop

Peter Sanchez-Iglesias has announced that pizzeria Pi Shop will close its doors next week to make way for a development kitchen.

The chef tweeted: "We will be closing the Pi Shop on 4 August, changing the space to a creative kitchen for the Sanchez Brothers Group for some epic future projects."

Pi Shop, opened in July 2016, is situated in the same former Bristol development on Lower Guinea Street as the Sanchez Brother group's Michelin-starred restaurant Casamia, which relocated from Westbury-on-Trym in January 2017, and Paco Tapas.

The pizzeria will featured an open-plan kitchen and wood-fired oven, serving a "simple and affordable" menu of sourdough pizzas in a relaxed atmosphere.
