Pierre Koffmann and Krug to open Covent Garden ‘Kreperie'

French chef Pierre Koffmann is set to collaborate with with Krug Champagne to launch a one-week "Kreperie" pop-up in London's Covent Garden this December.

It will serve a crèpe and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée Champagne for £35.

There will be a choice of six crèpes: a crab crèpe, a caramel, apple crumble crèpe, or pistachio with caramelized pistachio nuts, inspired by Pierre Koffmann's famous Pistachio soufflé.

French chalet-inspired dining pods will appear on the East Piazza of Covent Garden, delivered in three enormous Krug champagne crates, which will house the pop-up.

Koffmann will move the concept to his restaurant at the Berkeley hotel after the pop-up's week-long run in Covent Garden between 2 and 8 December. It will run at the Berkeley from 9 December to mid-January 2014.
