Ping Pong to open second restaurant

Dim Sum company Ping Pong are opening a second restaurant in Westbourne Grove, London, as part of an expansion that will see 10 sites open within the next two to three years.

The new 5,600sq ft site was acquired for an undisclosed sum, and work will start on it within the next three weeks. It is expected to open in October and have a capacity of 120.

The company's first restaurant opened in Great Marlborough Street, London, last month.

Trevor Shelley of Shelley Sandzer, the agents representing Ping Pong, said: "This is a very important acquisition for Ping Pong, as it is very difficult to grow a group at the beginning."
