Pitcher and Piano to open first site in five years

Pitcher & Piano is set to open its first new site in five years, in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

The new 141-cover site, set to open in the Corn Exchange in Market Place, which was designed by William Beck in 1853, will be Pitcher & Piano's 20th opening.

Designed by BGW Concorde, Pitcher & Piano Hitchin has been divided into areas, making it a flexible space for casual drinking and dining.

An all-day menu offers a choice of seasonal dishes from brunch and lunch through to dinner.

Signature dishes include sharing plates like chilli jam tiger prawn skewers, goat's cheese bon bons and BBQ chicken and pulled pork flatbreads.

An extensive wine list sits alongside premium spirits, beers, local ales, ciders and innovative cocktails, including ‘Mad Hatter's', served in top hats to share. Average spend will be approximately £10.

Collin Sadler, managing director of Pitcher & Piano said: "We are excited to be launching our 20th site in Hitchin. The town is the perfect place to launch our first site in five years and we look forward to bringing a new food and drink concept to the group."
