Premium Bars & Restaurants see sales rise

Premium Bars & Restaurants saw total group sales leap by more than 100% in December thanks to a record breaking performance from its Living Room brand.

The company, previously Ultimate Leisure, snapped up Living Room from Living Ventures in a £8.75m deal last June.

In the three weeks ended 23 December, The Living Room averaged weekly sales per site of more than £83,000, a brand record.

Mark Jones, chairman at Premium Bars & Restaurants, said: "Overall we are pleased with our performance in the crucial month of December.

In the six months to the year end, the company disposed of five sites and opened a new Prohibition in St Katharine's Dock in the City.

It has also exchanged contracts on a new Living Room site for The Hub restaurant complex in Milton Keynes.
