Prezzo to open first restaurant in Northern Ireland

Prezzo is set to open its first restaurant in Northern Ireland.

It will open in Belfast in March 2013 on the site of a former La Tasca restaurant.

The company is spending more than £550,000 redeveloping the site in the restaurant quarter of Victoria Square Shopping Centre.

The restaurant will have 144 covers; 80 internally and 64 in the mall seating area.

Prezzo chief executive Jonathan Kaye, said: "We are looking forward to opening a Prezzo restaurant in Belfast.

"It is a natural extension to our expansion plans in England, Scotland and Wales."
