Evening Standard critic David Sexton has become the latest critic to suggest all within the Gordon Ramsay empire does not glitter and is most certainly not gold.
Sexton found the prices reasonable and the service good at Ramsay's Warrington but the food, under the ultimate direction of former Claridge's head chef Mark Sargeant, poor.
Sam and Edie Hart's Barrafina tapas restaurant is a victim of its own success but Bloomberg critic Richard Vines is impressed, especially with the quality of produce available.
Time Out's Guy Dimond finds the sentiments great at eco-friendly restaurant the Waterhouse but like its predecessor Acorn House the cooking in need of greater attention to detail.
