Raw food restaurant set for Myhotel Chelsea
Plant-based burgers and cashew cheese platters will be amongst the dishes on the menu of a new raw food restaurant and superfood cocktail bar at the 45-bedroom boutique property Myhotel Chelsea.
Located on the hotel's new open-plan ground floor, Tanya's Raw Food Café is being launched by raw food specialist and professional wellness coach, Tanya Maher.
The menu is designed to provide "healing nutrition" and "loving nourishment at all times of the day" to reflect the busy schedules of 21st century life.
Dishes which are said to be "decadent yet super healthy" include plant-based curries and lasagnes, and raw chocolate cake.
Meanwhile, superfood cocktails, made with vegan plants and ethically sourced alcohol from around the world will feature Greena Colada (gold rum and barley grass) and South Asian Bloody Mary (cold pressed tomato juice and goji infused vodka).
A takeaway service, offering Grab & Go boxes, will also be available.
Maher, owner and creator of the Better Raw website, has been a professional wellness coach for five years, teaching clients the benefits of eating raw foods.
Tanya's Raw Food Café, which is set to open in Augus, will sit alongside Pellicano, a family-operated Sardinian restaurant at the hotel.
Myhotel Chelsea is part of the Myhotels Group, which also operate a property in Brighton.
