Raymond Blanc returns with second series of The Restaurant
Raymond Blanc is to return with a second series of The Restaurant and is looking for new contestants and restaurants to use during the BBC2 reality TV programme.
If you want to take part in the second series of the programme then Blanc is looking for teams of two - either married, in a relationship, family members or close work colleagues - who all share the dream of running their own restaurant.
And if you own a restaurant in Swindon, St Albans, Windsor or Reading, which can be taken over by the contestants on the programme, then the BBC wants to speak to you too.
The site has to be run by the contestants for anything between five and 11 weeks during the spring and summer. You will receive a fee for every week it is used, so you can make money by not running your restaurant.
Following on from the last series, couples will re-name and run the restaurant as their own concept and their success as restaurateurs will be judged by Blanc himself.
Last year's winners were Jeremy and Jane Hooper who now run the Thatch in Thame, Oxfordshire.
If you want to apply to be a contestant applications are available at www.bbc.co.uk/restaurant.
