Red's True Barbecue is to open a new restaurant in Nottingham - its fourth overall.
It will take over the former Fopp Records site on Queen Street in the city. The 5,500 sq ft site will open in the autumn following a £1.1m refit, and will have space for 160 covers.
The news came as the company released its full-year trading figures, which saw turnover rise 70% compared to 2012-13.
Restaurant-level operating profit increased 102% during the same period.
The last 12 months have seen Red's open a flagship 185-cover restaurant on Albert Square in Manchester. It also has a 107-cover site in Leeds, with another based in Headingley, Leeds, to open in mid July.
Red's, cooks cuts of pork, beef, chicken and sausage which have been dry rubbed in spices low and slow in customised Oklahoman smokers for up to 21 hours.
The business, which is owned and run by first time restaurateurs, Scott Munro and James Douglas, has recently appointed Tortilla founder Brandon Stephens as non-executive director.
