Richard Caring-backed Jackson+Rye restaurant coming to Soho

Richard Caring is to back the opening another Soho-based restaurant, led by Mark Askew and Hannah Bass.

The new venture, on Wardour Street, will be on the site of the former Osatsuma restaurant, and is to be called Jackson + Rye.

Bass and Askew have already worked together to open Grillshack, also backed by Caring, which launched last month.

The all-day menu will involve food inspired by the east cost of the USA, as well as American cocktails and hard shakes.

The site will accommodate 160 people will 10 more seats in the cocktail bar, and the design will be by Martin Brudnizki.
