Richard Caring considering sale of Côte restaurant chain
Richard Caring is reported to be considering the sale of French brasserie chain Côte.
The restaurant chain is close to appointing a corporate finance firm called Hawkpoint to review the business's options after receiving several unsolicited approaches, according to the Sunday Times.
A deal could see the 35-strong chain, founded in 2007, change hands for more than £100m.
Harald Samuelsson, Côte's joint managing director, told the paper: "We are not currently exploring a sale. Successful companies regularly receive approaches."
