Ristorante Semplice adds new bar and private dining room
London's Michelin-starred Ristorante Semplice is to add a new bar and private dining room.
The Italian restaurant in Mayfair will launch the new space, which will accommodate up to 30 diners, next month.
The new bar will serve a selection of classic Italian bar snacks and drinks.
Ristorante Semplice, which first opened on the old site of an Italian café and a fish-and-chip shop in spring 2007, is co-owned by general manager Giovanni Baldino and head chef Marco Torri.
It serves a modern Italian menu with a focus on authentic ingredients, with 80% of the produce imported from regional Italian suppliers. The restaurant was awarded its Michelin star in 2009.
