Sam and Eddie Hart close Fino

Fiitzrovia restaurant Fino is to close its doors for good next month, following the decision by owners Sam and Eddie Hart to focus on new projects.

The contemporary Spanish tapas venue was the first restaurant for the brothers, when it opened in 2003, with head chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho at the helm.

Offering a modern take on traditional and regional tapas, using the produce from Spain and Britain, Fino's typical dishes included milk fed lamb, crispy pork belly, ham croquetas and stuffed courgette flowers.

Sam and Eddie Hart, who also own Quo Vadis and two Barrafina sites, thanked their customers, suppliers, employees (past and present), and friends and family for their support over the last 12 years.

Fino will close its doors for the last time on Thursday 11 June 2015.
