Sebeto pizza chain to launch in London

Britain is to get another pizza-pasta chain as Italian group Sebeto launches its first UK operation.

Sebeto has bought the former Zizzi site on the Fulham Road in London and will open at the end of February.

The 90-cover restaurant will specialise in high quality pizzas, including a fried pizza option, at an average spend of £15-£20 for two courses.

Sebeto is a privately owned company, backed by the Bank of Italy. The chain operates more than 30 units around Italy and further UK expansion is expected in the coming months.

The group paid Zizzi owner Ask a premium of £220,000 for the site with current rent set at £110,500 a year. Davis Coffer Lyons acted for Ask.
