Second Foxlow site secured in Stoke Newington

Will Beckett and Huw Gott are planning a second outpost for Foxlow, the pair's neighbourhood-style brand, in London's Stoke Newington.

The new restaurant from the Hawksmoor owners will open on Church Street in April.

The menu will be overseen by Richard Turner and Lewis Hannaford and will feature Foxlow's signature slow-smoked and charcoal-grilled dishes, along with lighter options. It will include crispy five-pepper squid, Foxlow fried chicken and 10-hour beef shortrib with kimchi.

Beckett said: "Huw and I used to live in a small flat in Stoke Newington when we opened our first place together; it was great then and it's got even better since. We've always loved the idea of opening something on Church Street, which is one of the great neighbourhood streets in London.

"We hope we've found just the right thing; when Homa came up we knew it was for us. The restaurant is in a beautiful building and we think it's the nicest spot on the street. We think we can do something there that the locals will be really proud of."
