Sharland to join Seafood Restaurant

David Sharland, executive chef at Harvey Nichols's Oxo Tower and Prism restaurants in London, is leaving to head up Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall.

Sharland will replace Roy Brett, the restaurant's executive chef of the past four years. Brett will leave at the end of the year to become chef-director at Ken McCulloch's Dakota and Columbus hotel brands (Caterer, 29 September, page 7).
