Simon Hulstone to lead senior English National Culinary team at the World Culinary Olympics

Michelin-starred chef and former Bocuse d'Or competitor Simon Hulstone will be leading the senior English National Culinary team in the World Culinary Olympics, which take place in Erfurt, Germany, on 5-10 October.

The competition will see 45 nations from all over the world taking part over the five days.

The team members are:

â- Adam Smith, premier sous chef, the Ritz, London (current Roux Scholar)
â- Simon Webb, executive chef, Restaurant Associates, Merrill Lynch, London (BCF Chef of the Year 2012)
â- Andrew Ditchfield, executive pastry chef, House of Commons
â- Clark Crawley, chef, Compass Group UK & Ireland
â- Jordan Bailey, sous chef, the Elephant, Torquay

Nick Vadis, UK executive chef, Compass Group UK & Ireland, will be mentoring the team for the Cold Buffet.

National Team sponsors include Electrolux Professional, Steelite International, Major International and Continental Chef Supplies, supported by University College Birmingham.
