Spanish bar and restaurant operator Camino to open fourth site

Spanish bar and restaurant operator Camino is to open its fourth outlet in the City of London this spring.

The group, which already has sites in King's Cross, Canary Wharf and Monument, will open Camino San Pablo near St. Paul's Cathedral in May, which will also feature Copa de Cava, a dedicated cava bar.

Accommodating up to 120 diners, Camino San Pablo will offer a menu of tapas dishes and Spanish wines. Located in the basement, the cava bar will offer 25 different types of the Spanish sparkling wine, as well as a seafood and charcuterie menu.

Richard Bigg, managing director of Camino, said: "Cava offers far more choice and quality than many people believe. From refreshing brut to serious, aged vintage, Copa de Cava will prove that you can get a wide range of grapes and regions beyond traditional Catalunya."

Camino recently secured £3m in funding from the Business Growth Fund and hopes to grow the group to 10 Camino restaurants and bars in London by 2015.

Camino plans seven more openings by 2015 >>
