Staffordshire pub restaurant in Whiston is sold

A rural pub in Whiston near the Alton Towers theme park has been sold off a freehold guide price of £450,000.

Its popular lounge bar, 100-seat Brook restaurant (which doubles as function room) and rear beer garden turn over around £126,000 per year net and sales should grow following new owners David and Vera Walker's decision to extend the opening hours

The property also provides a two-bedroom, self-contained owners' flat.

The Manchester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the property on behalf of John Tomlinson.
