Strada set to open Portsmouth site

Italian-style restaurant chain Strada is to open its third site outside London.

It is due to open in mid-October at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. Strada currently operates 25 restaurants across London and two in the South-East.

The restaurant has taken a split-level unit overlooking the canal and will have indoor seating for 158 and seating on the terrace for 122.

Strada will join more than 25 bars and restaurants at the mixed-use development, including Café Rouge and Loch Fyne.

The chain serves a modern Italian menu of pasta, risotto, grilled meat and fish and pizza.
