Sumosan restaurant to relocate after closure

Japanese restaurant Sumosan, which traded for 14 years on Albermarle Street in London before closing its doors on 20 June, is to relocate to Knightsbridge.

The restaurant will reopen in partnership with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, the former manager of the Benetton Formula One racing team.

Opening this October at 165 Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, the multi-level Sumosan will comprise a lounge for up to 150 guests on one floor, and restaurant and bar accommodating approximately 180 covers across two levels.

More information about the venue is set to be released later in the summer.
