Tapasya opens second Hull restaurant
Hull-based Indian fine-dining restaurant Tapasya is to open a second site at the city's Fruit Market development.
The 125-cover Tapasya @ Marina will be based in the former CatZero building overlooking Hull Marina and is due to open in September.
Tapasya @ Marina will offer lunch and evening meals, and a takeaway menu will also be available for boat owners in the marina.
The Fruit Market area is being rejuvenated by the joint venture company formed by regeneration leader Wykeland Group and residential developer Beal Homes, in partnership with Hull City Council.
David Donkin, property director of the Wykeland Group, said: "We're delighted Tapasya is bringing its brand and refined dining experience to the Fruit Market. They fit the bill for our vision for the Fruit Market as a place that features a diverse leisure and retail experience supported by a rapidly growing commercial community."
Founded by Tapan Mahapatra and Mukesh Tirkoti, Tapasya opened in 2013 and offers classic Indian cuisine with a twist.
