Taruschio lured from retirement by Brazz Cardiff

Franco Taruschio, ex chef-patron of the Walnut Tree at Abergavenny, has been tempted out of retirement to take up a consultancy post at the new Brazz restaurant in Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre.

Taruschio will be consultant chef at the restaurant, inside the new Wales Millennium Centre, alongside head chef Simon Kealy, who worked as sous chef under Taruschio for many years.

The 300-seat restaurant is due to begin trading on 26 November, at the same time as the centre opens its doors to the public.

The Brazz chain is run by restaurateur and hotelier Kit Chapman.
